April, Larry Page Google CEO position



SAN FRANCISCO - Google gave a surprise in the top management level. April will be replacing Larry Page Eric Schmidt became the CEO of Google.

Launched by the Straits Times, Friday (1/21/2011), the Google said that although his position was replaced but still works in Google's Schmidt as Executive Chairman. In his new position later, Schmidt will focus on the things 'heavy' like a deal, cooperation partners, customers, business relationships and broader government affairs abroad.

"Schmidt, who has become Google's CEO for ten years, also will act as an internal advisor to Page and other Google founder, Sergey Brin. While Brin will be in charge of strategic projects and new products, which he described as his personal desires. Substitution of this will start effective on 4 April, "said Google's party.

"So far we have been thinking about better ways to simplify our management structure and accelerate the pace of decision making for a long time," Schmidt said in his official Twitter account @ ericschmidt.

"By clarifying the role of the individual, we will create responsibility and accountability are clearly in the ranks of the company. In my opinion, Larry was ready to lead and I am pleased to work with both, both Larry and Sergey," continued Schmidt.

Page himself considered Schmidt as an extraordinary leader, who is able to lead Google to succeed in the next decades.

Google's Potential Buy MySpace?



SAN FRANCISCO - Issue blowing so hard asset sales related to MySpace. Although still looking for buyers who are interested, Google is considered as one of the potential buyers.

"Policy News Corp to sell MySpace has said since a few months ago. If the price is set correctly, then it will many companies interested in buying. Google either," said Greg Sterling, analyst at Sterling Market Intelligence, as quoted by Yahoo News on Saturday (01/15/2011).

MySpace has the same fate with AOL and Yahoo. All three had enjoyed the triumph of the Internet but later had dimmed because of fierce competition.
Until now, AOL is still maintained by the management through a series of re-organization. Yahoo also clean up by closing some services that are considered less favorable. Meanwhile, MySpace over choosing 'sell themselves'.

Google Open 'stall' Digital Newspapers

CALIFORNIA - Google certainly will open the 'stall' new in cyberspace. The company will make sure the shop that provides various newspapers in the digital version.

According to one source, Google is currently exploring collaboration with the various newspaper publishers in the United States (U.S.) to create such a digital newspaper shops soon materialized. As reported by Reutres on Monday (03/01/2011), some newspaper publishers who are interested in is Time Warner, a unit of Time Inc., Conde Nast and Hearst Corp..

OS Google Chrome "released" today
